Nba Paris Game 2023 Wrap Up

HEREâS WHAT WENT DOWN AT NBA PARIS GAME 2023
The NBA has just wrapped up its game in Paris, but the impact of the event is still being felt across the baller community. If you missed out on all the action, here's everything you need to know about what went down last weekâŠ
On January 15th, local Parisian ballers competed in the Puma Community 3x3 Tournament, held at the Bir-Hakeim Indoor Court, for the chance to win tickets to the legendary Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls game. All attendees received a pair of box fresh Puma sneakers and a jersey to help them get game day ready.
On the 16th, adidas showcased a sneak peek of their S/S â23 Basketball Collection in collaboration with luxury streetwear designer, Jerry Lorenzo. The event took place at the Foot Locker store in Bastille and was attended by NBA athletes including Bojan BogdanoviÄ (Detroit Pistons), Goran DragiÄ and Dalen Terry (Chicago Bulls).
Next up on Tuesday 17th, Crep Protect set up a â360 photo boothâ in Foot Locker Rivoli, giving customers a chance to snap the âmoney shotâ of their latest sneakers with a full 360° view. Meanwhile, over at the Champs ElysĂ©e store, Hooper, the Detroit Pistons mascot, made a special appearance handing out autographs and giving customers the chance for a photo with him.
The day continued with Jordanâs Womenâs Empowerment Panel Talk, hosted by Mary Patrux. Panelists included singer-songwriter Poupie, PB18âs AgnĂ©s Sylvestre and basketball players Assitan KonĂ© and Seoud, who all provided great conversation around womenâs impact and their future in the game.
New Era got real personal with customers at the Foot Locker flagship Champs-ElysĂ©e store, letting them stitch unique designs onto New Era caps. The fun rolled over into the next day, with a New Eraâs meet & greet with none other than Detroit Pistons player, Saddiq Bey. Shortly after, New Balance also held a meet & greet with opposition All-Star, Zach LaVine, hosted by French basketballer Ronny Turiaf and attended by the Parisian baller community.
New Balance then wrapped up the day with an in store after-party which featured intimate performances from JosuĂ©, DJ MadBagTing, and Leicesterâs very own, Sainte. 15 of Foot Lockerâs Instagram raffle winners were lucky enough to join, alongside some of the hottest European and local influencers on the scene.
On Thursday 19th January, fans flocked to the Accor Arena in Paris to see the Pistons take on the Bulls in the only European fixture of the regular season. Foot Locker, one of the official partners of the NBA, and primary retailer for the 2023 Paris Game, hosted five striking retail points throughout the arena, including a fully branded merch truck at the arena entrance. Fans could shop a variety of limited merchandise, ranging from branded Bulls and Pistons tees and hoodies, to âParis â23â knitted bobble hats and scarfs; leaving little excuse to not show up representing your team, your way.
The excitement and impact of the game was felt across the city, not just at the stadium. Collection displays at Champs-ĂlysĂ©es, Les Halles and NBA House further showcased the influence of the game.
Foot Lockerâs most loyal customers managed to bag themselves for a pair of tickets to the game, courtesy of the Foot Locker FLX loyalty rewards program, and scored themselves a metaphorical one, nabbing the opportunity for a once in a life-time on court photo opportunity with Bulls legend, Joakim Noah.
On Friday, the week finished on a high, inviting the Parisian baller community down to âMaison NBAâ to meet with none other than NBA legend, B.J. Armstrong.
